My Amazon store is organized into lists of resources that I personally use and recommend. Full Amazon disclosure here.
The Informed SLP : Bite-sized reviews of journal articles to help you provide evidence-based treatment.
ASHA Evidence Maps: if you haven't looked at these in a while because they were too confusing, look again! They have recently updated the interface to make it much less confusing and highly useful. Search by disorder or key word. FREE
ASHA Evidence-Based Practice Tutorials and Resources: web-based (AKA video) tutorials on different EBP topics from many reputable sources, including Duke, The AAC Institute, UMass, and more! FREE
ASHA Practice Portal: Not as extensive as the Evidence Maps, but includes just as much evidence. FREE
ASHA Professional Practice Issues portal: covers topics from Patient Safety and the SLP to Reimbursement and Coding, for school, medical, and private practice SLPs. FREE
Florida Center For Reading Research Student Center Activities: FREE literacy activities for children from 1st-5th grade (although I have successfully used them with middle schoolers and higher). Pro tip: don't print the whole thing, just save it. You need a few 4" notebooks to hold the entire set!
The National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders Evidence-Based Practices: identifies and describes the EBPs for Autism. Includes charts and modules that count toward your ASHA CMH's (depending on your state, they might also count toward state licensure hours)! FREE
SpeechBITE: a site to search for SLP-related research! It's organized by efficiency and rated for evidence basis. FREE
What Works Clearinghouse: information for EBP for school-based issues like literacy, early childhood education, ELL, behavior, and post-secondary education. FREE
Child and Adult PDF and Docx Fillable forms for Private Practice by Kate Shepard on TPT. Includes any form you will need to run your practice, from HIPAA notices to Screening Consents. If you don't have an EHR that includes fillable forms, these are an excellent option!
ASHA's Medicare Outpatient Therapy Documentation page- includes info on what you need to note in your documentation.
ASHA's Documentation templates. Includes some templates for evals like VFSS, peds feeding, fluency, and speech-generating devices.
ASHA's Coding & Reimbursement modules, which are video modules with transcripts on various billing, coding, and reimbursement topics. Very helpful!
